Trappistine Creamy Caramels are made with the finest of ingredients - real cream, butter, corn syrup, chocolate, and flavorings. Candy production is the work of our monastic community and we make this candy with tender loving care. We are grateful to God for this business which allows us to be self-supporting. How long will your candy last?   Our caramel products have a shelf life of 3 months; Our mints, 6 months; Truffles, several weeks after opening. Can I refrigerate/freeze the candy?   Yes, you can refrigerate the candy. If you freeze the candy, before serving, remove from the freezer and leave in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Remove from fridge and let come to room temperature for another 24 hours before serving. Do we make sugar free candy?   NO Are the caramels hard?   The caramels are hard only when they are cold. If they are at room temperature they are very soft and chewy. How many caramels are in the 24 oz. box?   Approximately 65. How many caramels are in an 8 oz. bag?   Approximately 20-22. Can I buy all-light or all-dark coated caramels?   Yes. There is an additional charge (see chocolate coated items) Do we mix chocolate and vanilla caramels in a bag?   NO Discount Pricing   Case of 12 or 24 includes a discount. Twelve boxes in a case cost less than 12 individual boxes. This price does not apply to customers who want to ship to twelve different addresses. Do we use nuts in our products?   Yes. Do we use latex gloves in handling our products?   Yes. Do we gift wrap packages?   We do not gift-wrap. However, this year we do have the Deluxe Assortment in a Christmas box with a gold bow. We will print your short greeting and attach it to the box. We also will enclose letters or cards if you send them to us. Can I fax an order?   Yes. Our fax number is 563-585-2343. How long does it take for my package to arrive?   Allow 5 business days - 7 business days at the Christmas season. This time includes our in-house processing time.  Actual UPS or Post Office delivery time may be less.   Payment:   We accept MASTERCARD or VISA. Please include your 3 digit CID # from the back of your card. DO NOT send us credit card information by e-mail. Shipping Notes:   We must have a street address for UPS shipping and ship only in the continental US. We ship only UPS Ground.  We do not ship Next Day or Second Day express mail and do not accept expedited orders. Please note that UPS does not guarantee their delivery time during holiday seasons.
